Titusville YMCA publishes its 2020 financial report |


The Titusville YMCA, as a 501 (c) (3) charity, mandated by law to ease the burden of government on society, works every day to meet the needs of the community and ensure that all are welcome and no one is refused for inability to pay.

There is no other nonprofit like the YMCA. That’s because in 10,000 neighborhoods across the country, YMCAs have the presence and partnerships to not only promise, but also bring, lasting personal and social change.

In 2020, the YMCA of Titusville provided $ 602,136 in financial assistance and grants, enabling a large number of people to participate in Y programs and services, many for free. The YMCA received $ 224,756 in community contribution income to help with many of these fresh programs.

The YMCA of Titusville received $ 743,743 in government funding which helped provide needed services such as the 21st CCLC after school and summer enrichment programs. The YMCA served 2,194 people, 939 of whom were youth and adolescents, who participated in a wide range of activities including preschool, after school and summer enrichment, sports and recreation programs, family home evenings and community services.

The YMCA also offered programs for seniors, including Silver Sneakers and Balance and Fall Prevention, giving them the opportunity to connect with each other and engage in meaningful activities to improve their daily lives.

The YMCA of Titusville offers programs and activities for all members of the community, including wellness presentations, after-school and summer enrichment programs, physical activity programs, food programs and more. ‘a value of $ 602,136 for the benefit of the community.

The YMCA also provided free space worth $ 10,150 to outside clubs, nonprofits and community service organizations to help them meet the needs of the community at large.

Volunteering is a big part of what drives the success of the Y. The YMCA of Titusville is locally run through an ongoing community needs assessment and monitored by a local council of community volunteers. Program volunteers also devote many hours to contributing to the diversity and number of program services offered.

The YMCA had 131 volunteers who contributed a total of 1,288 hours valued at $ 32,200, making the number of programs and diversity possible at the Y.

The Titusville YMCA recognizes the importance of working together to create lasting social and personal change. The YMCA has the confidence of the community to convene, partner and support community collaborations to include the Titusville Area School District, Titusville Area Centraide, Crawford County Human Services, NovaCare Rehabilitation, Titusville HealthCare and Rehabilitation, Community Blood Bank, Crawford Heritage Foundation, Titusville Area Hospital and Seniors for Safe Driving.
